The La Motte Pierneef Sauvignon Blanc, crafted from organic vineyards, is a sophisticated white wine showcasing captivating aromas of fresh passion fruit, zesty citrus, and ripe Cape gooseberry, complemented by delicate hints of green pepper. On the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc reveals an elegant structure, finishing gracefully with a cool, mineral edge.

This wine is part of La Motte's premium collection, paying tribute to the South African artist Jacob Hendrik Pierneef (1886–1957), renowned for his masterful depiction of the unadorned beauty of the South African landscape and architecture.

Treatment in the cellar

After carefully harvesting the organically grown Sauvignon grapes, they were destemmed and underwent a 16-hour cold soak. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14°C over approximately 20 days. The wine matured on its lees for five months before bottling.
