Leopard's Leap Chescato is an enchanting, fruit-forward white wine composed of 70% Chenin Blanc and 30% Muscat D'Alexandrie, crafted in an off-dry and light style with a pleasantly low alcohol content. This lively white delights the senses with inviting aromas of caramelized pear and fragrant orange zest, while the palate is caressed by juicy hints of ripe summer fruits, apple, and delicate citrus blossoms, all harmoniously balanced by a crisp acidity.
Chenin Blanc (50%) und Muskat (50%) wurden separat vinifiziert, nach Abschluss der Gärung verschnitten und abgefüllt. Aufgrund der Lese bei einem frühen Reifegrad der Beeren, wird ein niedrigerer Alkoholgehalt erzielt. Ein kleiner Anteil des Weins wurde zudem entalkoholisiert und anschließend wieder mit dem Wein verschnitten, was zu einer herrlichen Balance zwischen frischer Säure und angenehmer Fruchtigkeit führt.
