The Morgenster Cabernet Franc showcases a deep ruby hue with youthful violet reflections in the glass, exuding a classic bouquet of lush berry fruits, cherries, freshly turned earth, and hints of clove spice. On the palate, it is complex and smooth, offering nuances of ripe berries and delicate spices. Its soft, velvety tannins, combined with a fruit-forward youthful style, deliver a beautifully weighted experience that captivates the senses!
The hand-picked grapes were transported to the winery in the early morning, where they were cooled overnight, then lightly crushed the next morning into stainless steel tanks. During the seven-day alcoholic fermentation, the tanks were gently warmed for optimal fermentation conditions, and the cap was submerged twice daily to extract maximum color and tannin. After the completion of both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in tank, the wine was aged for 12 months in third- and fourth-fill barrels.
