Crafted from organically grown grapes, it reflects the philosophy of natural winemaking at Mother Rock, with Johan Meyer employing minimal interventions—often eschewing even sulfur. The result is a highly drinkable red, inviting yet profound, perfect for cozy evenings or elegant gatherings.
Von einem einzigen Weinberg westlich von Malmesbury, der 1987 gepflanzt wurde - Buschreben und trocken gewachsen. Seit 2009 ohne Pestizide und Herbizide bewirtschaftet. (Der Force Celeste Rosé stammt aus demselben Weinberg) Dies ist vielleicht der beste Jahrgang dieses Weins bis heute. Die Trauben wurden zwei Wochen lang von Hand geerntet und vollständig auf wilden Hefe in Betontanks vergoren, wobei die Trauben zwei Wochen lang nur sanft von Hand gerührt wurden. Der Wein reifte zwölf Monate lang im Beton auf der Hefe.
