The Muratie Melck's Red is a captivating blend crafted from the esteemed varietals Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine boasts an inviting, fruity character complemented by a well-rounded, mature tannin structure. Expressive aromas of sweet berries, dark chocolate, and warm spices waft from the glass, leading to a palate filled with lush black fruit, plum compote, and hints of clove. The grapes for this red wine were meticulously handpicked and fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and traditional open fermentation vessels. Following fermentation, the wine matured for 18 months in second- and third-fill French oak barrels.
