With his legendary style, genuine personality, and innate talent for winemaking, Ronnie Melck has established a remarkable legacy, being the first owner in the family history to rest under the trees on the highest hill at Muratie. The Ronnie Melck Shiraz, with its intense ruby hue, sweet spiciness, and floral and berry notes, is a tribute to this legendary winemaker - grounded, honorable, and full of integrity.
The grapes for this stunning Shiraz were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, gently crushed and destemmed. The wine was traditionally fermented in open fermenters and aged for 16 months in 100% French oak barrels.
