In deep ruby red, the Neethlingshof Malbec 2023 enchants the senses with an incredibly complex and profound bouquet of blueberry compote, dark plums, mulberries, and caramel, accented by a hint of leather. On the palate, this medium to full-bodied wine presents a taste profile of ripe black plums, compote, and cedar, rounded off with silky tannins and a spicy finish.
Nach dem Anquetschen des Traubenguts verblieb der Saft 24 Stunden auf der Haut. Die Fermentierung fand temperaturkontrolliert zwischen 27° und 29° in kleinen Holzfässern statt. Nach der malolaktischen Gärung reifte der Wein zehn Monate lang in französischen Barriques.

würziger Malbec
Im Vergleich zu den vorangegangenen Jahrgängen dominieren hier Tabak, Leder und Fassaromen. In der Nase zarte Säure, Fass und leichte Würze. Auf der Zunge Tabak, Fass und dunkle Frünchte, vor allem Pflaume. Dazu leichte Schokolade. Im Abgang kommt die Würze durch.
