The Plaisir Estate Chardonnay 2023 presents a delicate straw gold hue, infused with vibrant green reflections. The Chardonnay grapes were crushed upon arrival at the cellar, with only the free-run juice collected for production, resting overnight. After fermentation, the wine spent nine months on its lees, with regular batonnage to enhance complexity and integrate oak nuances. Partial malolactic fermentation adds to the richness and smooth finish.
