The Plaisir Petit Plaisir Chardonnay captivates with a delicate yellow hue accented by fresh green reflections. Aromas of tantalizing tropical fruits meld seamlessly with notes of grilled pineapple. This wine offers a refreshing, zesty palate, culminating in a luxuriously buttery biscuit finish enhanced by hints of oak spice. With a light to medium body, it envelops the palate with delightful nuances of tropical fruit and subtle floral undertones, leading to a generous and elegant finish that promises sheer indulgence.
Upon arrival at the cellar, the Chardonnay grapes were pressed, capturing only the free-run juice, which was allowed to rest overnight. The next morning, the juice was transferred into a mixture of 300L French oak barrels (20% new, 80% second- and third-fill), initiating fermentation. After fermentation, the wine matured for nine months on the lees, with regular batonage to enhance mouthfeel and body. Partial malolactic fermentation resulted in a richer style, maintaining a fresh natural acidity.
