The Raats Family Cabernet Franc 2022 is a distinguished wine crafted from vines that are over 20 years old. Its captivating bouquet unfolds rich notes of aromatic Cape Fynbos, rosemary, and lavender, enticing the senses with the subtle hints of thyme, nutmeg, clove, and star anise. Handgeerntet und dreimal verlesen, wurde das Traubengut angequetscht und fünf Tage lang auf der Haut gelassen. Nach Abschluss der Fermentierung ging es in die traditionelle Korbpresse. Die malolaktische Fermentierung fand in Stahltanks statt woraufhin der Wein 18 Monate lang in französischen Barriques reifte (25 % Neuholz).
