Radford Dale Syrah 2021 embodies the essence of South Africa's Helderberg region, masterfully intertwining classic Rhône character with the unique terroir. Die Trauben wurden früh Morgens per Hand gelesen, sortiert und danach entrappt und gequetscht. Es folgt eine 'kalte Phase' oder ein Einweichen bei niedrigen Temperaturen. Ein kleiner Teil ( 20 %) der Früchte wurden am Bund vergoren. Diese Prozesse erheben die Schärfe der Sorte und bringen eine einmalige Aromatik hervor. Eine natürliche Gärung erfolgte, ohne Zugabe einer Hefe und die Trauben wurden nach Abschluss der Fermentation gepresst und in Fässer abgefüllt. Der Wein reifte 18 Monate und wurde unfiltriert abgefüllt.
