The third vintage of Rall Concrete Syrah showcases grapes nurtured in the unique terroir of slate vineyards. Harvested at an optimal moment, this wine undergoes a 100% whole bunch fermentation and matures in concrete eggs, preserving the vibrant fruit and crisp tannins intrinsic to this special Syrah. With a modest alcohol content of 12.5%, it reveals a beautiful structure characterized by savory notes of olive tapenade and dark blackberries. The expressive nose intertwines with earthy undertones and a hint of star anise. As winemaker Donovan Rall reflects, it took 17 years to achieve the Syrah profile he desired!
