The Rall Red showcases the dominance of Syrah in a classic Rhône-style blend from Swartland. This wine is broad and peppery, characterized by a concentrated profile featuring native Mediterranean bush aromas. With a firm tannic backbone, it delivers a juicy, meaty intensity. Layers of red and black fruits intermingle seamlessly with savory, spice-laden notes reminiscent of smoked meats. Its silky mouthfeel and delicate tannins contribute to a remarkable balance, making this a distinguished cuvée that embodies its unique terroir.
Syrah (71%), Grenache Noir (17%), Carignan (8%), and Cinsault (4%) underwent over 50% whole-bunch fermentation and aged for 12 months in old, used French oak barrels. The wine was filtered and bottled, with an additional 12 months of aging before release.
