This classic blend, Remhoogte Sir Thomas Cullinan, is crafted in a Bordeaux style from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. It exudes alluring aromas of blackcurrants, mulberries, ripe plums, sage, and cedarwood. The deep fruit notes are reflected in its intense ruby hue as it flows into the glass.
On the palate, sweet fruit flavors of black cherries, plums, and fruitcake intertwine with spicy hints of olives and black pepper, followed by broad, polished tannins and a medium acidity that culminates in a lingering finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted twice in the winery. First, on a conveyor belt, then on a vibrating sorting table.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously in open 500-liter French oak barrels, with regular 'punch downs' for optimal extraction. Malolactic fermentation takes place in 225-liter French oak barrels, followed by 24 months of aging in the same barrels. Fifty percent of the barrels used are new, with the other fifty percent being second-fill.

Einer unserer Lieblingsweine zu besonderen Anlässen. Sehr guter Bordeaux Style Blend.
Lieblingswein von uns für besondere Anlässe. Erfüllt alles, was wir von einem sehr guten Bordeaux Blend erwarten. Passt gut zu allen Fleischgerichten, aber auch zu Pasta. Wir freuen uns, dass dieses Weingut jetzt auch bei Curry Wines im Sortiment aufgenommen wurde. Als wir im November 2023 im Weingut zum tasting waren, kamen wir ins Gespräch, und wurden gefragt, wo wir gerne bestellen. Wir haben Curry Wines gerne empfohlen.
