Rijk's Chenin Blanc Reserve 2024 captivates the eye with its deep golden hue, while enticing the palate with a complex bouquet of ripe nectarines, fragrant peach blossoms, succulent melon, and hint of delicate honey. These vibrant fruit aromas harmoniously merge with subtle spiced wood notes, offering a lovely structure on the richly creamy palate. Full-bodied, it concludes with an exotic, sweet-sour finish. The grapes were meticulously harvested and pressed. The juice fermented 40% in new, 40% in second-fill, and 20% in third-fill French and Hungarian 300-liter oak barrels. The wine underwent a spontaneous fermentation of 50%, with the other half using selected yeast cultures. After 12 months of maturation, the wine was blended and bottled.
