The Rikus Neethling Chenin Blanc opens with intense primary aromas of citrus and stone fruit, yet with a creamier note than one would expect from an unoaked white wine. Aromas of delicate lemon cream, orange sponge cake, peaches and dried pineapple create a beautiful blend of flavours In the background, an enchanting perfume of chamomile and orange blossom adds a delicate floral note to the wine. Beyond the fruit-driven aromas, a hint of salted white chocolate completes the enjoyment, along with a fine minerality reminiscent of crushed seashells. This dry Chenin delights with a fresh, cucumber-like acidity, well-integrated alcohol and a gentle viscosity that creates a soothing mouthfeel. A medium-bodied wine with good intensity, full flavour and ample length.
