The Rustenberg Stellenbosch Malbec captivates with its alluring violet reflections in the glass, releasing an enchanting bouquet of dark fruits. Aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, and violets envelop the senses, complemented by subtle hints of pepper and tobacco in the background.
As it matures, the wine evolves, showcasing a spicier fruit profile. With ideal conditions, it possesses aging potential for eight to ten years from the vintage year.
The crushed, destemmed grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel, being pumped over during the process. Extended maceration (0 to 7 days) and subsequent aging in 100% oak for 15 months - (10% new, 90% 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fill 225L) in French oak barrels.
