The Saurwein CHI Riesling showcases a radiant pale hue, releasing enchanting aromas of peach, ginger, ripe apple, lime, white blossoms, and a peppery slate nuance. On the palate, it demonstrates a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, accompanied by an intricate and intense fruit profile.
Crafted by winemaker Jessica Saurwein, the term CHI signifies "life force" and draws inspiration from CHIUTA, an African rain god. The picturesque vineyard nestled in the fertile Elgin Valley inspires the creation of this crisp, handcrafted Riesling.
Die Trauben wurden von Hand gelesen, gekühlt, sortiert, entrappt und gepresst. Spontane Gärung erfolgte in Edelstahltanks, über etwa 6 Wochen, bis die optimale Restzuckerbalance erreicht wurde.
