Information about "Savage Follow the Line Cinsault 2024"
The Savage Follow the Line Cinsault unfolds with an exquisite bouquet of aromatic rose and cherry blossoms, dried lavender, and vibrant red summer berries, complemented by a hint of pepper. Subtle earthy notes and raspberries, alongside herbal Fynbos, add complexity. The palate is marked by remarkable clarity and pure fruit, featuring a lively dance of fresh acidity and juicy red berry nuances. The finish is incredibly long and demonstrates outstanding brilliance. This opulent wine is crafted with care from 41-year-old bush vines and includes 6% co-fermented Syrah for added depth.
This elegant wine (89% Cinsault, 11% Syrah) underwent malolactic fermentation in clay amphorae and old French oak barrels (500 L) after stainless-steel tank fermentation. It matured for ten months in larger oak foudres (1500 L – 2000 L).
