Spier Creative Block 3 showcases a deep ruby hue with a vibrant violet edge, inviting the senses to experience aromas of violets, black cherry, and mulberry. Layers of spice from black pepper and fennel complement the nose, creating an intricate olfactory profile. On the palate, this wine reveals a silky, lively mid-palate filled with luscious fruit and supported by dense, ripe tannins. This remarkable Rhône-inspired blend, crafted from Shiraz, Mourvèdre, and Viognier, delivers both depth and finesse.
Die Trauben wurden von Hand gelesen und vor dem Entrappen sowie Sortieren vorgekühlt. Die Gärung erfolgte über einen Zeitraum von bis zu 14 Tagen in Edelstahltanks. Der biologische Säureabbau sowie die anschließende Reifung fanden in 300-Liter-Fässern aus französischer und amerikanischer Eiche statt – über einen Zeitraum von 16 Monaten, davon 40 % in Erstbelegung und 60 % in Zweitbelegung. Die Rebsorten wurden zunächst einzeln vinifiziert, um den spezifischen Anforderungen jeder Sorte gerecht zu werden. Die finale Cuvée wurde durch selektive Fassverkostung bestimmt – mit dem Ziel, eine ausgewogene, Rhône-inspirierte Komposition zu schaffen, die Frucht, Fülle, Holzeinsatz und Tanninstruktur harmonisch vereinte.
