Displaying a medium to deep ruby hue, the Spier First Stone Organic Red Blend envelops the nose with an alluring bouquet of dark cherries and fragrant cassis, nuanced by a gentle hint of fennel and delicate spices. On the palate, it unfolds with richness, complexity, and balance, concluding with an exceptionally refined and soft finish that lingers impressively.
The grapes were hand-picked at optimal ripeness, meticulously sorted, and crushed in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation utilized both commercial and naturally occurring wild yeasts, lasting 26 days. The free-run juice was aged in French oak barrels (55% new, 45% second-fill) for 24 months before blending and bottling.

unterschätzt
Diesen Wein habe ich völlig unterschätzt und finde ihn deshalb umwerfend. Schöne Farbe, trocken und weich / rund, tolle Nase, extrem gefällig im Geschmack, ein Gaumenschmeichler.
