The Spier The Yellow Wood Organic White Blend captivates with a stunning bouquet of white peaches, delicate floral blossoms, and subtle notes of fine yeast intermingling with hints of spices and fresh citrus fruit. This wine offers fruit-driven aromas that resonate seamlessly on the palate, culminating in a crisp finish with a touch of almond, all within a pleasantly dry style.
The grapes for this white wine blend of Chenin Blanc and Viognier were handpicked in the early morning and transported to the winery in 8 Kg crates. In the cellar, the grapes were cooled and then meticulously hand-sorted. Minimal intervention was applied during vinification. The juice fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, with the Viognier completely fermented in wood. The wine then spent an additional four months on the fine lees to enhance structure before bottling. Made from grapes grown without pesticides or artificial fertilizers.
