The Flagship Red from Stellenbosch Vineyards is a luxurious expression of the region’s terroir. In the glass, it showcases a deep ruby hue, releasing enchanting aromas of dark cherries and blackcurrants. The palate is rich and velvety, with cascading notes of sweet spices and plum, complemented by a subtle finish of dark chocolate and cedar. This wine concludes with a long, persistent finish, making it an exceptional choice for connoisseurs. Composed of 46% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, it exemplifies the art of blending.
Die Trauben für diesen besonders edlen Tropfen wurden per Hand gelesen und mit großer Sorgfalt für den weiteren Produktionsverlauf ausgewählt und sortiert. Die Gärung des Traubenguts dauerte drei Wochen lang an und fand in Tanks aus Edelstahl statt. Der Wein reifte unglaubliche 36 Monate in Fässern aus französischer Eiche (60% Neuholz) und wurde vor dem Abfüllen auf die Flasche noch leicht gefiltert.
