The Stellenzicht Thunderstone Rosé is an elegantly crafted rosé blend of Shiraz, Cinsault, and a touch of Grenache Noir. Exhibiting a delicate salmon hue, this fresh rosé envelops the senses with subtle floral notes and tantalizes the palate with vibrant fruit, balanced acidity, and a dry finish. The wine's intricate structure showcases its exquisite craftsmanship and reflects the unique terroir of Stellenbosch, known for producing sophisticated wines with finesse.
The grapes were harvested in the early morning and pressed whole upon arrival at the cellar. The resultant juice was then transferred to stainless steel tanks at a controlled cool temperature, resting for 24 hours. Post-rest, the juice was racked from the lees and inoculated with selected yeasts to commence fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine was aged in used oak barrels for four months, before being carefully blended and bottled.
