The Terra d'Alter Telhas Branco captivates with an aromatic bouquet of lush fruits and violets. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant spectrum of fresh fruit flavors, complemented by a refreshing acidity that contributes to its balance and elegance. The vineyard sits atop a bed of ancient clay shards, remnants of tiles and roof shingles from a Roman villa, which inspired the name "Telhas" or tile.
The hand-harvested grapes underwent two days of skin contact before fermentation began. Aged for 11 months in new oak barrels on the lees, the grapes are processed in a manner reminiscent of the traditional Condrieu method.
