The Sutherland Grenache Noir enchants with vibrant aromas of red cherries and raspberries, elegantly complemented by subtle hints of white pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with refined tannins, lively acidity, and a clear, linear fruit profile. The clean and precise finish beautifully reflects Elgin's cool climate.
The hand-harvested grapes were destemmed and gently pumped into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Twice daily, the must was punched down before pressing after two days. The wine was then moved to barrels for malolactic fermentation and aged for 10 months in older oak barrels.
