The Tokara Shiraz unveils a deep plum-red hue, inviting with an intricate bouquet of dark plums, ripe blackberries, and wild berries, alongside subtle hints of both red and black fruits set against a delicate spicy backdrop. In the mouth, it impresses with a velvety fruit profile, red fruit aromas, and a refined herbal note. Juicy on the mid-palate, this brilliant Shiraz concludes with lightly chalky tannins in a pleasantly dry finish. Its flavor is rich and dense, yet remarkably fresh.
Following harvest, the grapes were hand-sorted and crushed. Spontaneous fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and wood. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrels, after which the wine aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, of which 10% were new oak and the rest second to fifth fill.
