Bertus Fourie is a true multi-talent of the wine world. His nickname ʺStarbucksʺ refers to his unprecedented and unparalleled pioneering spirit in the unique world of Coffee Pinotage. Bertus was cellar master and viticulturist at Diemersfontein and later winemaker for KWV. Bertus developed the Barista in collaboration with Vinimark, The Wine Company, South Africa's largest independent wholesaler.
A ʺBaristaʺ is someone who specialises in the art of making espresso-based coffee, so the naming of this unique Coffee Pinotage is extremely fitting.
