The Vuurberg White is an exquisitely crafted white blend that captivates with its aromatic complexity. On the nose, enticing notes of citrus fruits, peach, and pineapple mingle with subtle hints of yeast and straw. The palate reveals a luxurious and full-bodied experience, complemented by a smooth, creamy texture.
This unique blend comprises 32% Verdelho, 30% Chenin Blanc, 17% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, and 6% Semillon. The marriage of diverse grape varieties from multiple regions, coupled with a judicious use of new oak, infuses the wine with complexity and an aura of sophistication, enchanting both the nose and palate. A masterful multi-region wine crafted by winemaker Donovan Rall.
All grapes were fermented separately, whole-pressed without settling, except for the Semillon component, which was left on the skins for a week before being barreled.
