The Whalehaven Pinotage showcases a deep ruby core with a violet rim in the glass, captivating the senses with an inviting bouquet of dark plums and sour cherries, complemented by a subtle hint of herbal Fynbos. On the palate, it enchants with rich layers of dark chocolate fondant, tobacco, and delicate licorice. This approachable and well-structured Pinotage reveals delightful layers of red fruits on the finish.
Nach fünf Tagen kalter Quellung auf der Haut fand der Gärungsprozess in Tanks aus Edelstahl bei Temperaturen zwischen 24°C – 30°C seinen Abschluss. Nach Beendigung der sechstägigen Fermentierung reifte der Wein 12 Monate lang in kleinen Fässern aus französischer sowie amerikanischer Eiche. Nach einer leichten Filterung wurde der Wein zum fertigen Genuss auf die Flasche gefüllt.
