The Zorgvliet Cabernet Franc captivates with an alluring bouquet of mint, raspberries, and hints of black currant leaves. On the palate, the tannins are firm and dry, while the fruit exhibits elegance and finesse. Echoes of both fresh and dried tobacco leaves, vibrant berry fruit, and harmoniously integrated oak tannins elevate this wine to a remarkable experience. The finish is long-lasting and pleasantly spiced, crafted from 92% Cabernet Franc and 6% Merlot sourced from a single vineyard.
Die Trauben wurden sanft gepresst und sofortin kleine französische Eichenfässer umgefüllt, wo die malolaktische Gärung begann und endete. Die Komponenten wurden dreimal umgefüllt, um die Klärung und Entwicklung zu fördern. Der Verschnitt erfolgte
Verschnitt erfolgte nach 14 Monaten Reifezeit, wonach die komponierte Mischung für weitere vier Monate im Fass reifte. Der Wein wurde nach insgesamt 22 Monaten in Flaschen abgefüllt.
