The Savage Follow the Line Cinsault unveils an alluringly complex bouquet, blending perfumed florals of rose and cherry blossom with hints of dried lavender, red summer berries, and aromatic pepper. Subtle earthy undertones complemented by raspberry and herbal Fynbos emerge enticingly. On the palate, the wine exhibits remarkable clarity and pure fruitiness, enlivened by a vibrant acidity and notes of juicy red berry. The finish is impressively long and brilliantly defined. Crafted with care from 41-year-old bush vines, this opulent wine incorporates 6% co-fermented Syrah, enhancing its complexity.
Das Traubengut für diesen eleganten Tropfen (89 % Cinsault, 11% Syrah) durchlief nach Abschluss der Gärung in Tanks aus Edelstahl die malolaktische Fermentierung in Ton Aphoren sowie alten Fässern aus französischer Eiche mit einer Füllmenge von 500 l pro Fass. Anschließend reifte der Wein weitere zehn Monate in größeren Eichenfässern ( Foudres) mit einer Füllmenge von 1500 L – 2000 L pro Fass.
