Wine recommendations for pork dishes

Pork and wine is not that simple. It depends very much on the preparation. If you prepare it lightly and with vegetables, you can pick up on the fruit in the wine, in the form of a Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc or Fernao Pires. Red wine lovers can choose light to medium-bodied red wines, such as a harmonious cuvée or Merlot. A rosé would also be an alternative, but for more substantial pork dishes, such as roast pork or knuckle of pork, we Bavarians find it a little difficult, we would go for a beer ;-))
