Beau Constantia is located on the north-facing hills of the Constantia Nek mountain pass, an elevated position overlooking False Bay where vines find cool sea breezes.
With vineyards stretching 350 metres above sea level on the Constantia Mountain Range, this spectacular location produces small quantities of phenomenal grapes with a harvest of 3-6 tonnes per hectare on what is arguably one of the steepest hillsides in the Cape, allowing the production of wonderfully concentrated yet well balanced wines with a strong heritage character.

For over 35 years, Japie Bronn from the Robertson Wine Region, cultivated vineyards in the Constantia and Cape Point wine regions. He is a silent legend in the wine industry who likes to take refuge from the limelight behind his large and thick beard. This is reflected on the bottle label as well as in the name itself, as "Pas de Nom" in French means nothing more than "no name". The stylised bearded face on the label represents Japie Bronn.
