The enchanting Buitenverwachting Winery is situated on the eastern slopes of the magnificent Constantiaberg, just 12 km from South Africa's famous False Bay. The farm was once part of the Constantia Estates, founded in the 17th century by the first governor of the new Dutch colony, Simon van der Stel, at the tip of South Africa.
Rooted in deep granite soils and cooled by shallow sea breezes, Buitenverwachtings vines produce globally acclaimed wines from groβartiger complexity and unique aroma profiles.
