Wine recommendations for dessert
Desserts need sweet wine, if possible sweeter and denser than the dish itself. With chocolate desserts it depends on the chocolate, the darker and more bitter the chocolate, the less sweet the wine needs to be. A white dessert wine is also a good choice for fruity desserts. You can never go wrong with fine tawny or ruby dessert wines.
