Wine recommendations for poultry dishes

In general, a strong white wine such as Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc or Moscatel goes well with low-fat and low-calorie chicken or turkey. A fruity Alvarinho or Verdelho goes well with chicken in a cream sauce and a tangy Sauvignon Blanc with fried chicken.
