Growing Region Walker Bay - South Africa

This recently demarcated district is in the immediate vicinity of the coastal town of Hermanus.

It has a very good reputation for its excellent Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, which thrive here in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley. For wine lovers, this area is a piece of heaven on earth. The big plus here is the cool climate. The vineyards are practically permanently blown around by cooling sea breezes and thus experience a longer ripening period.

All these regions are part of the Western Cape geographical region.
